Science Students And Knowledge

Being a science student, anything is possible and one has to try in terms of experimenting. I went to the laboratory to try to mix chemicals. Although my chemistry teacher had given us an assignment to mix some chemicals, she had taught us how to go about it. She said bottle A is base, bottle B is acidic, and bottle C is salt. Now, she asked us to mix the one that suited the practical we had done. Being so smart, which I think my smartness was like foolishness, I decided to tell my group to leave the experiment for me as they were not sure of what to do. They all had full faith in me, as I had not failed them before.

We started the practical and I raised the bottle C and poured it inside a beaker as our teacher had taught us. Meanwhile, when she was teaching us, she gave out A as acid, B as salt, and C as base. Now she has changed the pattern. She also taught us that one can touch base without harm, but acid can harm someone's skin. She gave us concentrated acid. I poured the content into bottle B inside a beaker. Now, I decided to imitate my teacher. (She touched the base after pouring it inside the beaker without harming her). She had told us that it was harmless.

After pouring it into the beaker, I touched it and immediately flung my finger out. Instead of pouring water immediately, I took the second group bottle B out of the pain of burning and poured it again on my finger. This increased the burning until my partner had to pour out water on my finger. This was when I regained myself. My finger is gone. They laughed the hell out of me.

My partner took over from where I stopped. She was now wise enough to handle it since it had harmed me earlier. I was watching from a distance. She took the water they poured on my finger and sank everything inside the beaker that contained Acid. Immediately and without wasting time, there was a splash of acid. It splashed and poured all over her body, including her face, making it a draw game. She was laughing at me so seriously, and now she had taken her share of it.

My physics teacher was teaching us friction and said, "If not because of friction everyone would have been in the air flying”. I raised my hands and said, "But Sir, we still have human beings flying in the air, can we say they are not having friction?”

My teacher paused and said, “There is no human being that can fly in the air”.

I replied, “Sir, what about witches and wizards?”

My physics teacher continued his explanation. He said, “There are some methods of reducing friction, which are……” He started naming those methods and explaining them one after the other. Likewise, he got to the third one and said “Streamlining”.
He started explaining and talked about one of its examples by mentioning submarines moving underwater.
He also said, “Every object is streamlined to move on where it is made”. He went further by asking the whole class, “Is it possible for human beings to walk on water?”
Someone stood up and said, “Sir, it is possible”.
My teacher asked the boy to give an example of his findings.
The student said, “Jet Lee and Jackie Chan ran on the water without sinking”. The whole class burst into serious laughter.

He went further and asked, “Is it possible for human beings to fly in the air without falling?”
I stood up and answered, “Sir, I had answered you before now. It is possible”.
He asked, “How?”
I replied, "Witches and wizards, as well as Chinese people, do fly in the air, and even Indian people like flying Jat”

The class did not contain my teacher that day.
