I miss the MicroSD card slot but I got use to no 3.5mm jack though still have enough wired earphones lying around.

The research drove me crazy and even after I published it I was digging into seeing where someone could reliably get that Sony and it's like it really wasn't marketed to the US market as much and I was seeing them listed in Japan and China.

Do you think at this point you would buy something like that Sony to have the MicroSD and the 3.5mm jack or have you moved on completely?

I keep trying to hold on. Hahahha

I have move on from the 3.5mm jack and on the verge of moving on from MicroSD.
I used to have a Xperia phone for a while and the micro usb b had some pin inside that broke. Send it for warranty and got the phone replace. I sold the replacement phone thinking the design and manufacturing was a risk of it happening again.
I know some of the Sony stuff launch in Japan first. There is a Sony product which I have been looking at for a while but didn't pull the trigger. This one: SONY REON POCKET 5
You can try Rakuten. I understand that's a e-commerce platform and maybe can find Japanese brand stuff send to US.

Rakuten got weird. It used to be like eBay but now it seems like it gives you access to discounts with manufacturers.

I ended up getting the Note 20. Transferring everything over has been more annoying than I expected but mainly because of the messaging app. If you were on Samsungs text app vs Google Messaging for it things can get weird.

Also everything on my MicroSD on the old phone went to my internal storage instead of going to the other MicroSD. I might do it over by doing it on the computer. I'm not sure yet.

It's Android 13 but I noticed some of the updates and security stuff was this year essentially. We will see how it does. I just wish it had the 3.5mm jack in it.

I've never move to Google messaging yet. Samsung phone have this smart switch app which I find quite painless the last few times I changed phones.

I probably should have stuck with that but I usually download the Verizon transfer app. Even if someone isn't on Verizon people can use it. It gave me some sort of error with the regular messaging app and that's why I transfered over to Google messaging on that. I think something to do with the latest RCS standard
