Well uh, that happened! The Sixers actually pulled it off! This was just epic. The Sixers finally get it done versus Boston after so many years of failures against this team in the Playoffs.

Joel Embiid is giving everyone hope again. He looked, and continues to look, ready to play his best basketball in these playoffs. There's always a million what-ifs when it comes to sports and life. With Joel Embiid it's always been what if he's healthy? The Celtics may have just been the first to see what that's like. Time will tell.

Even when Embiid played in the regular season it wasn't always with his full healthy teammates around him. But I guess something about these playoffs is bringing the best out of Embiid. Maybe his appendectomy gave him a new perspective, while giving him further rest when it comes to his other basketball related injuries.

If this is coming together now, what does a healthy locked in Embiid do for the rest of this roster? The Sixers may have seen just what it can do for the team in Game 7. If this team is finding itself now, look out.

Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, V.J. Edgecombe, and Paul George combined for 100 points. The Sixers won 109-100. Embiid and Maxey both were approaching triple-double territory. Some believe the Sixers aren't too deep when it comes to bench talent but I am starting to think that maybe this starting five is the deepest in all of basketball. How is that possible? It's possible if V.J. Edgecombe can be great. V.J. scored 23 in Game 7. If he's learning how to play well with Embiid, Maxey, and George that would be nuts. What if the Sixers actually have a Big 4? That fifth guy is no joke either with Kelly Oubre Jr.

Maybe the Sixers aren't that deep but they could possibly, all of a sudden, have the deepest starting five in the NBA as long as everyone stays healthy and V.J. can rise. The bench is better than I think others say and I'll tell you what, they'll be rested!

I am absolutely thrilled the Sixers beat the Celtics. Jayson Tatum was out for Game 7 but he was there the entire series until then. Joel Embiid didn't arrive until Game 4.

The epicness of this series win can't be overstated. It's a long time coming for the Sixers! I will speak on the epicness of this more in the future but I'm running out of time at the moment. Always running out of time LOL.

The Sixers move on to another Northeast US team in the New York Knicks. Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns are not exactly fans of each other so that matchup might be legendary.

I think the Sixers have a chance. This intact version of the Sixers are a real threat. It's wild how my opinion sways but circumstances change and events unfold, and I therefore must adjust! The Sixers made a substantial step in proving themselves so I gotta give them credit here.

The Sixers could win this in six! But this will be a very interesting first game to read. UGH. This is going to be so fun.

If the Sixers really did a little Northeast tour and go on to win the title... that would be SPECIAL.

The Sixers are in the elite eight of the NBA now! Time to be great!!!!

Seriously, you're right, fun memorable playoffs for sure. Yes well done Sixers no doubt, big respect to the Celtics of course. They'll be back as dangerous as ever next year. Today went terribly for the Sixers lol but it's hard to imagine they'd have swept the Knicks anyway. Just enjoying the ride and hoping for the best!
