76ers get handled by Magic Tuesday, bounce back well vs Nets Friday, look to start winning streak vs Hawks tonight

The Sixers got destroyed on Tuesday vs the Magic where NINE Magic players scored in double digits. The defense was just nonexistent. Not much else to say as the Sixers lost by 41!

Friday went a bit smoother. It was against a poor Nets team nevertheless they got the job done which is all you can ask for. Dominick Barlow posted a double-double and Jared McCain continues to show progress as he recorded his first 20 point game in under 30 minutes! McCain's steady improvement is going to be essential for the Sixers as they suffer through various injuries.

Well, while there have been injuries lately, two Sixers did return and contribute fairly nicely on Friday. Paul George had a nice game and Adem Bona brought good energy as well and hit his first three of his NBA career!

Right when one big man returns in Adem Bona, another one seems injured as Andre Drummond is now questionable tonight with a knee sprain.

Ugh.

While it's wild how the Sixers are shuffling through and swapping players as guys get new injuries and others return from injury, I suppose it's decent that the Sixers do seemingly have respectable depth. I don't think it's great to consistently do this but for now, it's sorta kinda working out ok enough.

Both Joel Embiid and V.J. Edgecombe are also questionable for tonight's contest which I guess is better than being ruled out immediately. We'll see if they play later I guess.

But yeah for the most part a huge part of this Sixers team is essentially playing Tyrese Maxey and Quentin Grimes 40+ minutes a night which I suppose I don't hate but in a perfect world they could perhaps get some lighter nights.

The Sixers are playing nice, more than watchable basketball but it'd be cool to see them string together some wins and get a better winning percentage here. Tonight they face a good Atlanta Hawks team. They will be without Trae Young but they've proven to still be solid without him. He's been out a month now and the Hawks hold a nice 12-8 record.

This is the last game of November for the Sixers and these games are becoming more and more important as we go. They've played only 18 games but that equates to pretty much 22 percent of their season. They currently hold the 8th position in the Eastern Conference Standings, it'd be nice to be an actual playoff team rather than be in a play-in spot.

Should be a good game. I'm just grateful the Sixers have a chance to win on most nights, unlike my miserable Titans, LOL!
