A's lose absolutely CINEMATIC game vs Brewers by a score of 15-14 | J.T. Ginn on the mound for game two
Um WOW. I don't normally post the links to games whenever my favorite team loses but, this loss is different. It definitely hurt a bit to see the A's lose such an incredible battle, but still, one of the teams had to lose. It takes two teams to have such a memorable game at the end of the day.
The A's lost in extra innings 15-14. The game should have ended several times. But basically, let's put it this way both team's pitchers basically said this:

Meanwhile the A's and Brewers offenses were like:

This game looked like a legitimate football game score. It kinda reminded me of some little league games I played in as a kid. I can't even begin to talk about the numbers and stats that go along with this one.
29 runs, 34 hits, 11 homers, 12 innings, 14 pitchers used combined.

The A's had many chances to win but the Brewers stayed persistent. In the bottom of the tenth, the A's were down 14-10 but Nick Kurtz and Jonah Heim keep the boys in it with massive homers.
I was PUMPED.
But it just wasn't the A's day. Props to the Brewers.
Another reason this game was so high scoring besides the players playing well, was because this is a Las Vegas Series, basically a fun road trip for the A's as they make their move to Vegas in a few seasons, and Las Vegas Ballpark is at elevation, which makes the ball travel very well. Also, the stadium doesn't have much of a playable foul territory, so hitters don't get out quite as easily.
So yeah, this recipe led to a wild one!
J.T. Ginn is on the mound for the second game, let's see how he can handle these circumstances!
