HA well at least one of my teams are finding success. It's refreshing to write about a victory finally.

They officially won their series vs the Rangers! The win also allowed them to take sole possession of first place in the AL West. It's still early in the season but it's still satisfying!

It was largely a bullpen game from a pitching perspective. It was a great outing by the six pitchers collectively though! They only allowed a single run in the low scoring 2-1 affair.

The A's two runs came in the very first inning and they ended up being the winning runs! Almost like a backwards game winner LOL. It came off the bat of Carlos Cortes who continues to excel. He hit a triple that drove in Brent Rooker and Tyler Soderstrom. Oh yeah, Brent Rooker is back after missing 14 games! Brent Rooker and Carlos Cortes batting back to back seems like a potentially powerful duo!

Cortes is currently holding a .377 batting average along with an insane 1.121 OPS! This dude is on fire, he must stay in the lineup!

After a night off, the Royals come to West Sacramento for a new three game series. The A's are 15-13 while the Royals are 11-17. I don't know much about the Royals at the moment but based on record alone, hopefully the A's can win another series and strengthen their record early in 2026!

For whatever reason I couldn't find out whose pitching for the A's tonight.

But yes I look forward to seeing if the A's can maintain their winning ways. They are only two games above .500 but the team looks solid.

It's fun covering the Phillies and A's. Opposite leagues, on opposite coasts.

Three of my four teams are playing in one night, pretty amazing!
