Phillies bounce back in a big way yesterday in Toronto! + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 59

Oh yes, sweet victory! Finally. After four straight ugly losses, the Phillies went into Toronto seemingly on a mission. In the very first inning the boys put up a cool six runs and that basically ended the game right there! Turner and Harper hit back to back jacks, and later in the game Turner hit ANOTHER one. Turner has had some iffy moments with his glove but his bat is clearly working!

Yesterday I was wondering if Harper was healed properly for this return after being out a handful of games, and well he answered that question quick, fast, and in a hurry. Harper is such an anchor to this team, and he proved that yesterday I feel. His sheer consistency is a real super power. He gets into slumps like any other player, but they usually aren't very extreme.

Cristopher Sánchez had a nice outing, lasting six innings and only allowing a run. He hasn't had a super dominant outing in awhile but he's been a real pro on the mound, never really getting out of control too often.

Rookie pitcher Mick Abel gets the start in The Great White North this evening for the Phils. His first outing as a pro was stellar, hopefully he can keep that momentum going! Especially after the pitching staff looked shaky recently. Always good to see a young pitcher come in and add some optimism on this older roster.

Should be a good game, lets keep stacking wins. The series is still up in the air. I'm ready.
