Well yesterday's game ended before it really began. In the first inning the Brewers jumped all over the Phillies with a five run inning. Aaron Nola has never given up so many runs in an opening inning in his career. Yeah, I think it might be time to move on from Aaron Nola soon. Unless he turns this around big time, I don't see why the Phillies should keep him in the rotation. He just hasn't had an actually GOOD outing in ages. I guess the Phillies don't have many good options this season which is concerning when talking about the upcoming playoffs but then again the rotation in the playoffs is smaller and I doubt Nola will make the playoff rotation at this point which is wild to say. It will probably Cristopher Sánchez, Ranger Suárez, Jesús Luzardo, and Taijuan Walker. Losing Zack Wheeler has been tough but that's still a solid enough rotation especially with the addition of Jhoan Durán as the closer. I hate to be so negative about Nola who has been a Phillie for so long but Nola has just been really bad lately.

The Phillies have 5.5 game lead in the NL East which is good. The Mets are off so may as well gain a game on them anyway AND win this series over the Brewers. Ranger Suárez on the mound!
