The Phillies have really been showing that they can handle some of the better teams in the AL East lately! They have now successfully defeated the Red Sox and Yankees in consecutive series. Both those teams are pretty iconic franchises and so, it's always nice finding success against those teams.

Five different Phillies recorded two hits yesterday, and every starter reached base safely. Bryce Harper remains red hot as he hit yet another home run, his 15th of 2025. Since he returned a few games prior to the All-Star break, the man has just been locked in. He's playing some of the better baseball I've seen him play in recent memory. If he keeps this up, who knows what his final numbers might look like at season's end. If he can keep crushing the ball like this, the Phillies will be hard to stop in October! As a team the Phillies have scored nearly ten runs a game in these past three games.

Ranger Suárez had a solid outing on the mound as he secured his eighth win of the season! Not bad, he bounced back nicely after his start vs the Angels the other day.

Today Zack Wheeler aims to get his 10th win of his 2025 season and a Phillies' sweep of the Yankees! That would be pretty epic indeed. It would be his fifth consecutive double digit win season and his eighth of his career. He may have had eight in a row but 2020 was of course shortened due to Covid.

Today's game is delayed a bit due to rain, but it should begin shortly.

#GOPHILLIES!
