Well yesterday was a mostly easy game for the Phillies! The offense was firing on all cylinders as they poured in 12 runs on their way to a convincing victory over the Yankees. Kyle Schwarber is well known for his power, and he only continues to add to his powerful reputation as he smashed two more homers last night, and he's now got 36 on the season. He's been on fire lately. Schwarber also recorded his 1,000th hit of his career last night! I also forgot to mention that Bryce Harper's home run on Wednesday was his 350th of his career! Solid milestones for both of those guys for sure. J.T. Realmuto also hit a three run BOMB last night as well. It was just a dominant performance all around and it was a joy to watch. Taijuan Walker also had one of his better outings which was nice to see, especially against a good team like the Yankees.

Ranger Suárez is on the mound today to try and bounce back after his last start versus the Angels did not go so well.

On a quick side note, BIG congrats to rookie first baseman Nick Kurtz of the Athletics who hit FOUR home runs yesterday! He becomes the first Athletic ever to do so and the first rookie ever to do so! Wild! The A's are firmly my second favorite team and Kurtz is from close to my hometown as well! Wild! Pretty fun times indeed! Go A's!!!
