Sixers fall to Thunder Monday | Joel Embiid and Paul George set to return tonight vs Bulls!

The Sixers fell to the Thunder on Monday which unfortunately was basically a scheduled loss. They remained competitive to a decent degree though, and were down by less than 15 points in fourth quarter. V.J. Edgecombe had another excellent game as he dropped 35 on the defending champs!! His ceiling is truly pretty high, I think he's got a really bright future.

With 10 games left in the season, the Sixers are getting two huge pieces of the roster back!! Paul George returns from his 25 game suspension, and Joel Embiid returns after missing 13 games due to injury. I find it a bit interesting that Embiid returns the same time that George does but ultimately it is a good thing! Hopefully Embiid can play here and on through the playoffs and Maxey should return soon too.

I'm hopeful that Embiid and George can be a huge boost. 10 games left isn't nothing, and hopefully the Sixers can make a big push to secure a legit playoff spot and not have to compete in the play-in. The Sixers are 39-33 and in the seventh seed. The fifth seed Raptors and sixth seed Hawks each have 40 wins. It would be great to see the Sixers capture their 40th win too. For the playoffs and with 2/3 of the big three on the court.

I was expecting George to return tonight, but Embiid was a bit of a surprise. Still, even without these two on the court, with how V.J. Edgecombe is playing I was expecting the guys to get the win over the 29-42 Bulls. I think Embiid will be the first scoring option while Edgecombe should still be second, George third, Grimes fourth. Kelly Oubre Jr. is still out but should be back soon too.

Let's see how the squad looks tonight!! The season still has big potential!!
