Welp, the Sixers are in bad shape at the moment. With little signs of improving any time soon. They lost their fourth straight game to the Pelicans last night. The Pelicans are one of the worst teams in basketball. DeAndre Jordan turned back the clock and looked like he was a Clipper all over again and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Pelicans. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona weren't bad as the combined for 22 rebounds for the Sixers but still, it was rather shocking to see 37 year old DeAndre Jordan have a pretty dominant night rebounding. Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. combined for 52 points which is decent but, really lackluster defense is what cost the Sixers yesterday.

Tonight the Sixers will be without Joel Embiid again. This will be his fifth straight game he's missed. The Timberwolves are a really solid team and if the Sixers can't beat the Pelicans, tonight might be a disaster.

This Sixers team is just so strange. I guess the plan is to hopefully have Embiid for a playoff run and hope for the best. That seems like the team's strategy of the past seven years or something. It's a rather unfortunate, wishful sort of idea and I don't know if I really buy it at this point. I guess we'll see. Paul George will be back eventually too...

I don't want to be a victim of the moment but at the moment things are looking rough.

A big chunk of the northeast is getting smacked by a snowstorm right now and of course I'll still enjoy staying in and watching the Sixers compete!

When things look this depressing why not have some optimism, if that makes sense. No sense in just assuming the worst every time I guess. If the Sixers were to get a win after this rough stretch against a good T-Wolves team and Anthony Edwards, that would be pretty cool.

I'll just appreciate the moment!
