The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 3 + πMy Thoughts on the Sports World Today π
October 27th, 2024 @ Indiana Pacers
The Machine visits Indiana for the first time in his young career and performs well! He and the Sixers controlled the game the entire time on their way to a 98-82 victory. The Sixers are now 2-1 on the season. The Machine finished with:
- Teammate grade: A
- 15 points, 3 Rebounds, and 6 assists
- Also gained a cool 10k fans
After the game, American Express approached him with a sweet endorsement deal. Hopefully that is just the beginning of some sweet deals in the future.
Here's a quick snapshot of the Machine drawing a foul for an and-one that he ended up converting.
Fun stuff! Hopefully soon his ratings begin to climb, and the playoff push will begin!
πMy Thoughts on the Sports World Today π
In the real world, the sports world has been pretty interesting.
Aaron Rodgers finally signed with the Steelers to be their new QB. This is a strange situation because I really don't think Aaron Rodgers is capable of being elite at this point in time. This just feels awkward. I suppose since the Steelers have a really good defense, there's a sliver of hope but I'm not really that impressed.
Yesterday's UFC 316 was pretty sweet. I was ridiculously impressed by newcomer JooSang Yoo, also known as 'Zombie Jr.' referring to the Korean Zombie which is just super wholesome. Zombie Jr. knocked his opponent out in devastating fashion. Seriously one of the better knockouts I've seen in a while, I'm looking forward to seeing him perform again. Merab Dvalishvili completely dominated Sean O'Malley to retain his championship. Merab is sooooo good. What a fighter and just seemingly great person. Super likeable fighter. I hope he defends that belt several more times. Kayla Harrison also became champion as well which was pretty cool. A pretty good UFC night.
NBA FINALS GAME TWO TONIGHT LET'S GO!!π
NBA Finals Game Two goes down in a little over an hour and I'm hyped for it! Not gonna lie I really hope Indiana wins again. Game one was thrilling, hopefully this one is just as good. I'm just loving the underdog story of Haliburton and really that whole team. I'm also really liking Andrew Nembhard's game as well. Hopefully Pascal Siakam can really keep his steady energy. Really the whole team has impressed me, I just love their attitudes and their energy on the court. A really unique team.
In contrast, I kinda feel like the Thunder can be a bit smug at times. Maybe smug is a bit strong of a word but, they don't seem to really play like they respect their opponent. They don't seem to want to be there. I don't know it's hard to put my finger on it. I feel like they just want to speedrun to become champions, whereas the Pacers are fully locked in, in grind mode. I just respect it more. Like even when Kobe was dominant, you could really tell he was trying out there. No messing around. Many of the players on OKC seem too cool for school and I find it sorta strange.
No matter what it should be fun! OKC is still a serious threat and super talented. I have no idea what to expect! Let's go!
