The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 37 + 🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
As I eluded to in my preview blurb I made yet another duplicate upload in 'The Machine' series. Yikes. So Part 37 is here now HA.
January 8th, 2025 - Philadelphia 76ers vs Washington Wizards
The Machine and the Sixers were rolling on their way to a fairly easy W! The Machine had one of his better days as a pro overall! Scoring 22 with an efficient 62 percent scoring percentage! He also dished 5 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds! His progression is pretty nice!

🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
In the real world, It's officially December! A lot of sports going on so here's some quick fire yap sessions.
UFC
November 22nd was the last UFC event and it was pretty intriguing for sure.
Kyoji Horiguchi is apparently an excellent fighter that made his long awaited return to the UFC! The guy looks like a freak (in a good way) and I was impressed. He's got skills and grit. I won't be shocked at all if he gets a flyweight title shot in 2026. He's well decorated with plenty of MMA lore!
Ian Machado Garry is pretty annoying at times but he's talented and won a massive bout vs former champ Belal Muhammad. The Welterweight division is looking super tough right now, anybody vs Islam Makhachev looks interesting in my opinion. But I don't really see anyone beating Islam. I've become a huge fan of Islam!
Arman Tsarukyan made it look easy vs Dan Hooker. It's a shame Arman won't fight for the title but I think his time will come. Not sure what to make of Dan Hooker at this point, but I hope he's making good money. He's in like a very weird gray area at this point in his career. He's sort of on the lower end of the Dustin Poirier/Tony Ferguson spectrum of fighters. He's not miles behind Poirier and Ferguson but he's not quite on their level if that makes sense. I'd put Hooker a shade above Beneil Dariush in terms of legacy although it's very close. Dariush vs Hooker would be really interesting actually.
NBA
The NBA season has been interesting early on. The Lakers are looking excellent, Austin Reaves is progressing to levels I never expected. It's still utter madness that the Mavericks traded Luka but I'm curious to see how Cooper Flagg develops over time. He's quietly looking pretty good so far.
The Thunder look primed for a repeat and a historically excellent season as they hold a silly good 20-1 record. The Pistons look ready to take the next BIG step which is pretty cool to see. I enjoyed watching those 2000's Pistons teams for sure growing up.
Nikola Jokić continues to boggle the mind with his play. Is he getting better?!?!
NFL
The Bears and Broncos are the number one seeds in each conference as we speak. I am deeply puzzled to be honest.
Caleb Williams. Bo Nix. What....
Well I guess I am being proved wrong. The NFL is shuffling in new talent all the time. Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson can't stay healthy, the Chiefs are falling off in a big way at the moment, and the Eagles look beatable.
The Patriots are also looking excellent and my gut tells me they are the scariest of this new wave of talent the NFL is seeing.
It feels as though the NFL is totally split with average to great teams, and the rest are just bad. Like it does feel 50/50 at the moment if that makes sense. These playoffs are going to be madness.
I do want to note that the AFC South, besides my Titans, does look pretty good for once LOL.
All in all there's just a lot to digest with the NFL right now. But it's fun to watch!
The sports world never sleeps, till next time!
