Greetings friends!

The title of this contest in the Freewrites community is something strange. Moreover, because it’s based on a topic that is very strange. Even Doctor Strange would fail to grasp the meaning of it. But I was quite sure what had been in the mind of the contest organiser.

I started making bread to get some inspiration. I took flour to make the dough. But since the title was “strange dough,” the dough I made actually became strange. It took the shape of a human‑like face, almost like a moon‑faced man. (I forgot the actual term, so I am saying moon-faced man. I became alert, because I’ve seen enough horror movies in which it is shown that such things can get dangerous. So I stepped back.

It said, “Don’t worry. I’m not going to harm you.”

I laughed, because it was just dough and I planned to eat it, of course, after baking it.

I replied, “You shouldn’t worry. I’m not going to eat you because you’re strange and I’m a big fan of Doctor Strange.”
It was astonished to hear that. Suddenly, it jumped into the oven, and after a few minutes, I had a nice loaf of bread.

You may find this story strange, but yes, it’s all about the strange dough.

This is my first post in this community while I am active on hive since 2018. Isn't this strange?
