Hello everyone!
Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 269. It’s your boy @akwash360, and I’m excited to share with you my cover of the powerful song “Ni Na Yesu,” which translates to “I belong to Jesus”. This soul-stirring piece was originally performed by Pastor Chingtok Ishaku.

In line with this week’s theme, "The Time Past," I chose this particular song because it reflects a personal decision I made years ago, a decision to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, without looking back. The message of the song is deep and reminds me of the commitment I made in the past, one that continues to shape the path I walk today.

I must sincerely commend Pastor Chintok Ishaku for composing such a spiritually uplifting and inspirational song. It serves as a reminder to us all. At some point in our lives, many of us made this same choice, to follow Jesus. While it’s not always easy to stay on that path, songs like this serve as a gentle call to remember our vows and to reflect on our spiritual journey.

Beyond its powerful lyrics, the song’s delivery is equally impressive. The lead vocals are heartfelt and expressive, and the backup singers harmonize beautifully to enrich the overall sound. The production is clean and well-balanced, making it easy to connect with the message.
