Hello everyone, and welcome to Afri-tunes Week 163! I'm @akwash360, and for this week’s rendition, I’ll be doing a cover of the powerful gospel song “We Wait on You” by the talented Nigerian gospel artist Steve Crown.

Steve Crown is one of my favorite gospel singers and songwriters in Nigeria. His songs deeply resonate with me, perhaps because they are mostly worship-centered, and I have a special love for songs that usher one into God’s presence. His music is always filled with deep meaning and often communicates important spiritual messages that uplift and inspire the soul. Honestly, I’ve never come across any of his songs that I didn’t enjoy. Every track I’ve listened to has been absolutely superb.

Part of what makes his music so outstanding, I believe, is the incredible team he works with. His instrumentalists and backup singers are simply amazing. They are focused, passionate, and committed to excellence in their delivery, which greatly contributes to the quality and power of the music. Their coordination and synergy create an atmosphere that is not only professional but spiritually enriching as well.

I truly admire their dedication and would like to commend their collective effort in consistently producing such high-quality gospel music. It’s inspiring to see such excellence in action.
