Rising Star Meme #100 - How the "Pack Baking" Experiment is Going...

So, a couple of 'memes' ago, I was discussing a superstition regarding RNG-based (or 'gacha') games and how people usually come up with them as some sort of copium. And I went ahead and discussed my own "urban legend" as they seem to be called by the gamers (yeah, I'd been going through some shite luck and been trying to cope with it with these wild ideas lol)

Here's what I came up with:

To hold onto packs rather than opening them right away so that they have time to be "baked(?)" or rather "nurtured", hence giving better cards.

Yeah, the idea seems and IS stupid, but I was kinda excited about testing it out back then, but boy, oh boy! Never thought this was gonna be this hard! every day I just wanna open them all up and see what's inside, but I'm already a few days into the experiment (which is just me NOT opening anything at all - you know the struggle) and I'm already at my limits lol
BUT WE MUST PUSH ON FOR THE SAKE OF SCIENCE and blah blah

What the results could indicate?

Well, this is some non-scientific experiment with no real value, but within the so-called "urban legend" universe, if I get my long-awaited Legendary (or even get more Epics as I usually get NONE AT ALL), this could start a series of "buy packs then HODL them for better rewards" fever which would be hella fun to watch.

I'm not expecting any good cards (as always), but I do appreciate anything good that comes along the way. The thing is, considering the situation right now, I'm kinda scared of getting anything better than the guaranteed Rare...
It might be me trying to 'reverse-jinx' it, or even the "Pack Baking" thing at work, or nothing at all!
Whichever the case, I guess time would only tell when the New Cards Day is here!

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. From where I grew up, there's a lot of superstition like this one that people strongly believe. I wonder how many players of RisingStar or similar games really believe in such stuff?

Same story where I come from! I don't think Rising Star's player base believes much in such legends since the game really doesn't leave much to the imagination at first glance. Splinterlands, however, seems to be more affected by such thoughts and beliefs, in my opinion 😅
