Rising Star Meme #102 - The Illusion of "EGO"!

I think at this point I'm a paid shill for instruments in Rising Star. I reckon people have started to realize their value and pick up on the trend of buying more over time, which is a great thing by the way - not for me in particular, tho. I'm invested in Mics and compared to back then, the prices have skyrocketed lol

Some Grim History of Instruments

Back when I started playing, my progress was REAAAALLY slow. I hadn't unlocked Ego for a long time, and I didn't really know what it was till I saw it for myself. There weren't many tutorials on Ego and Instruments back then and I only had a general idea on Ego - it stops you from progressing too quickly.

All those stuff led me to think "Well, it's no biggie! If I can play 'carefully', I can avoid it!" which was the stupidest thing! It's part of the game and gameplay and there is no way to go around it.

And yep, it sure was. Rising Star uses a "Proof of Burn" mechanic regarding Skills and Ego which I'm gonna extensively discuss sometime in the future. But in short, that's one thing giving STARBITS a great value (much like STARPRO, but the mechanism is hidden in STARBITS's case)

It was not until the Christmas event and me farming for instruments that I ACTUALLY felt the difference between having no luck on the Music Lesson you're doing and having a couple of luck to boost your lessons.
Ever since then, I've tried accumulating lucks on a periodic basic (even more than I needed to account for sudden growth)

Some Insight

If you're going for having tons of fans (the endgame content and farming) I really suggest having more Luck than you need. It's not "more than you need" cause you'll be needing it in due time in the future when you grow your Fan base, but having more luck enables you to get enough Skills for fewer Music Lessons thus saving time and energy that can be used on Missions to increase your STARBITS output, promote Fanclub, or anything else, really...
