Rising Star Meme #106 - Slowly But Surely...

Yesterday I went off about how haste makes waste in Rising Star and today, I wanna point out the fact that Rome wasn't built in a day.

Buying into the Game

Yes, you could totally buy your position in the game (There are enough cards out there on the market) and the prices wouldn't be that terrible as opposed to what many would think. Just spread the buying phase over a couple of days (if you're buying big) so that there wouldn't be much market impact and you avoid the "Haste Makes Waste" thingie I discussed in the previous meme.

Compounding

This one is how most of the big players today have grown their accounts. Yes, you can buy into the game - that will give you a huge boost or headstart - and you can keep investing more in the game periodically, but the real power comes when you play the game efficiently and start compounding your assets over time.
It is a SLOW process and you won't be touching the top of the leaderboard anytime soon if you want to take this path, but it could get you somewhere in the long run even if you are not investing in the game big time.

It goes without saying that the whole "compounding" process needs a base investment and capital in the beginning and the lower your initial investment, the lower the compounding effect. By "initial investment", I don't mean getting a ton of fans in the beginning, but getting the necessities you'll be needing to keep playing the game actively and efficiently.
That includes a couple of Pizzas - so that you don't run out of Energy and actually get to play the game - or enough Fans that are required to run missions - so that you wouldn't have to rely on drunks to access the higher mission.
Preparing to counter Ego is yet another essential thing you have to take into account so that you can avoid the imminent reduction in your ROI when you unlock it.

XP Boosters could also be a nice addition if you want to kickstart your journey, but they come after getting enough Pizzas, Fans, and instruments.
