Rising Star Meme #111 - When the Bump Hits HARD!

You must have already noticed that I've been speculating and documenting Rising Star's core math (the ones that are hidden) regularly through this meme series.

The "Disclosure"

Some might argue that everything should be disclosed for the sake of 'transparency', but I beg to differ. You see, slowly uncovering the math behind the game through speculation and trial and error is hella satisfying, and, although not perfectly sure about my calculations, I'd love to discuss my assumptions and findings.

So What's New?

Well, fortunately (or unfortunately??), a while ago I hit 50 Fans and got another "Base Ego Bump" as I'd like to call it - the previous one was at 30K Fans.

I remember a good fella in the Discord server used to say that we'd experience the said "Bump" every 10K Fans, but as I just mentioned, that was not the case.
I waited for the first one at my 10K Fans threshold... nothing happened!
The same story for when I went over 20K Fans, at that point, I thought it was a game bug lmao
Then came the 30K-th Fan and I saw for myself how the numbers changed!

Then again, I was expecting another one at the 40K Fans mark, but no news of the said bump...

So Here's My Assumption ("Speculation" Might be the Better Word)

The game itself says this (under the Ego section):

The important point is the fact that Ego increases after EVERY single mission that you run. But as you might have noticed, Ego doesn't increase much when you unlock it at first (especially if you don't have many Fans either).
Illegal Busking starts off with 1 Ego at first and after the first 2-3 times you do it each day, the Ego stays the same. It's not after the 3rd time you run it that it only progresses to 2.

My guess is that it does increase in the background, BUT the game rounds the numbers so on the outside, you feel that it has stayed the same.

If we take the previous conclusion and apply it to the 10K Fans rule, we conclude a similar thing. The Base Ego does increase every 10K Fans, but it is not until the 30K Total Fans that you see the increase at first!
And then it takes 20K more Fans to show itself again, and from then on it just goes downhill.

I'd say the fact that I am still in the 3rd Zone contributes to the fact that my Base Ego doesn't go up every 10K, and the person who said that it does increase every 10K was indeed in the 4th Zone (or at least had much more Fans that 50-100K, I'd say something like 200K). But considering all the roundings and such + the amount by which the Base Ego has increased, I suspect the next Bump to be after the 60K mark.

Though, I might decide to stay behind a bit and strengthen my Luck stack for the future and putting the Fans in a storage or something :D
