Rising Star Meme #12 - The Dark Side of Rising Star...

Guess it's time to get a life lol.

These X-hour Rising Star missions are brutal. Especially the Band Audition mission which is 4 hours long and has a 20% chance of succeeding. Plus, you'd have to succeed 4 times in it to unlock ALL band slots to proceed to the next area.

Other than these mandatory missions which leave some element of gacha and grind to the game (which I truly love), there's the obstacle of "having a to-do a mission a certain number of times before being able to initiate the next one". (regardless of the prerequisites) While this isn't a major obstacle for most missions out there, it works as a huge rock in your way when you have to do a... say 4-hour mission a couple of times before being able to do the next one...

Fortunately, the effects of this hindrance is lessened by the fact that meeting the next mission's full prerequisites becomes much harder (leveling up especially) as you progress in the game...
