Rising Star Meme #25 - Beware of DRUNKS!

Are you one of those who stack Ego till they're about to go in the Reds???

Well, I'd advice you not to...

Here's Why:

The other day I was pushing through normal missions and I was gaining Ego at an alarming rate when I saw myself with a 1% Ego.
I panicked, gave the detailed numbers a closer look, and realized that I can do a single Music Lesson and continue grinding for a while longer... I did that and after I got back, I realized that I'd got DRUNKS like ten times the number of Skills that I'd gotten.

Sure, wouldn't have been a problem if I'd prepared for that with Whiskey Bottle, but I haven't gotten there to actually benefit much from investing in a Whiskey Bottle yet.

Moral of the Story is:

Take the unexpected drunks into your calculations as well - you never know when they show up. But when they do, they sure hit hard if you're not prepared enough.

A Good Strategy

is to stay keep your Skulls a distance of "YOUR_LUCK_COUNT" ahead of your Ego, and keep broadening the gap to account for the unexpected Vehicle Pull or make room for more fans if you're not pulling and buying off the market instead.
