Rising Star Meme #67 - You GOTTA Try Rising Star on Mobile If You Haven't Already!!

Up until some time ago, I'd been playing RSG on a desktop browser, and never even thought of doing it on mobile - as I'm always (literally 24/7) on my PC and have access to the browser.
Until 2 weeks ago that I had to go on a trip and had to be on the way for almost a full day and had no access to my computer whatsoever.(or at least that's what I thought, I could use my laptop midday for the entire trip lol)

That's when I thought about installing Keychain and importing my account so that I could play on my phone on the go, and BOY, my life has never been easier since I started using it.

There Are 2 Ways

Actually, there are two ways to play Rising Star on mobile:

1. Using the link the game provides you
2. Or using Hive Keychain mobile app (Android/iOS)

The Game Link

First, you'd have to click on the "Play on Mobile" button right located on the page right after you log into the game:

Then you'll be redirected to a page where you can get your Link and use them to play the game on your phone. I haven't used this method tho.

IMPORTANT: Don't give that link to anyone as they'd have access to your account.

Be extra careful if you're a streamer.

Hive Keychain App

I prefer this method since it's more straightforward. On PC, RSG players use the Hive Keychain extension to sign their transactions securely. You can't install extensions on mobile browsers, that's where the Hive Keychain application comes into play.

You install the Hive Keychain app and have your transactions signed through that. Not only will you be able to play RSG through it, but you will also be able to buy/sell assets and tokens on Hive-related websites, and even log into Hive interfaces like PeakD, Ecency, etc...

Long story short, you'd be able to do pretty much anything you can AND have been doing with the Keychain Extention on PC, over on your phone on the go.

Anyways, to do so, you'd have to

• Install Hive Keychain on your phone

Get the links for your device (Android/iOS) from the Official Hive Keychain Website.

• Import yout account

Either through scanning your QR Code from your extension on PC OR just putting your Hive username and Posting/Master Key into the app.

• Click on the three dots on the top right corner and choose "Browser"

This will open up Hive Keychain's built-in browser and you can browse the internet freely. The difference is that whenever there is a prompt asking for your Hive Keys, the built-in browser is able to catch that and you can securely sign the transactions without having to enter your keys.
