Rising Star Meme #69(nice!) - April 30th is NIGH!

meme69.png

It's always sad to see a Rising Star event end. What's sadder is to see TWO events end simultaneously - one of them being the game's birthday.

But fear not, as there will be more events coming, and the cards each event introduced will be our memento of the time we spent playing Rising Star during specific events... or at least that's how I'd like to see it.
New cards introduced every month are the bread and butter of RSG and the events are the seasoning (pun intended) of the whole thing.

I thought I'd drop some hints and share my thought process concerning both the Easter and Birthday events.

I might actually dive much deeper into the Birthday Event in another post in a day or so (before the event is out) and give my thoughts/strategies about them.

A Couple of Tips - Do your own part of the research too!

Birthday Event

  • It's still not late for getting Birthday Cakes - 30K SB and an hour of your mission time, and it's yours.
  • You'd be paying 50% more for the same value Pizzas provide, but the Cakes are limited-edition, so they could go higher than pizzas, y'know.
  • Just like last year's Cakes, these ones are susceptible to another price spike if another big wave of players/investors join the game - making Cakes ideal for long-term investment.

Easter

  • It might be a bit late to farm for Easter instruments, as the prices have dropped significantly, but if you don't have anything else to do, then why not.
  • It's actually a good idea to start HODLing event instruments as they are far too cheap right now and the market circulation will start to go down once the event is over - resulting in higher prices.
  • Easter instruments are as low as 5-7K SB on the market and if we multiply it by 10% (the acquisition chance) it'll be 500-700 which is the expected return of a 30-min run (even if you don't get any cards, PROVIDED that you do it enough times to offset the runs you haven't got any) - meaning that doing the Easter event if you're making less than ~600 per your 30-min missions is a good idea

NOTE: The last calculation was based on the CURRENT value of the limited-edition instruments - if you can/want to HODL them, I see their true value being somewhere ~20, meaning you'd be effectively making 2K per run - that's why I stacked on a bunch of them earlier this month >.>

And that's about it for the tips! I really wanted to keep it short, so I did my best not to go off and discuss many details, but if you got any questions, feel free to drop a comment.

Stay safe and busk away!
Cheers~
