Rising Star Meme #87 - You Get What You Give~

meme87.png

Well, let me put some of my mindset out here. It could work for some smaller players, but it might not work for all or be as effective for all... here's the deal nonetheless:

What you give matters!

In fact, what you give and put into the game in comparison with other players is what matters.

Some examples

Someone has 100K Fans and is putting 10 hours a day into the game and is making xxK STARBITS per day.

  • The simple way to catch up with them is to put as much (or more) into the game and have the same number of Fans and do missions 10 hours a day.
Not many have that option available, so they should resort to another method.
  • Another way is to put in more TIME! You could put in 15 hours and make up for your lack of Fans.
  • Last option in my opinion is to devise a perfect strategy! A routine or pattern of doing missions and such. It could give you an edge if you could stick with it perfectly. More so, if you have more fans and strategize more of your time (you'd be perfecting more 'assets' of yours!)

There's the Gacha too!

Most know it as RNG (Random Number Generator) or Gacha (mostly used in eastern games to refer to RNG, but essentially the same thing) and it DOES create some distortion in the calculations (some random variables). Might give a boost to someone, or hold them back even.
Someone might put in more time with more fans and end up with fewer rewards than someone with less time/fans due to RNG, BUT if you keep with a perfect and refined strategy, in the long run, you'd get ahead of anyone you're competing with!

Now, there might be some ups and downs, there might be bad days with you putting more hours and RNG punching you right in the jaw, but I believe if the sample gets big enough, the drastic effects of these distortions are minimized or even nullified (in the grand scheme of things)

Nullifying just like how Pack Openers open many packs and might even list their cards for a little bit cheaper, but end up with more profit if they get even one legendary.

A Tip

Now, don't get ahead of yourself and celebrate early if the luck comes knocking on your door. It's okay to celebrate, but discipline is key. If you loosen up when you get some luck, you'd eventually be outrun with grinder/hustlers!

Cheers~
