Rising Star Meme #96 - Tips For the Busier Player Base of Rising Star

meme96.png

Rising Star is an idle game which makes it pretty easy for the players to keep up with the stuff going on in-game - even the busiest ones.
Even when you're busy, if your work involves being on a computer and being online, you could always keep a Rising Star tab open and keep grinding.

The Big Problem

arises when you're offline or don't have access to your Rising Star account.
It's not that hard to solve this one, either! Just importing your Hive account or saving your Rising Star Link to your phone could solve that problem and let you play when you're on the go.
I kinda get the feeling that many are already playing on their phones (I'm the only dum dum around who is 24/7 on PC lol)

But anyway,

Here Are Some Common Tips

To help you use your limited time efficiently and distribute your workload throughout the day (and most importantly maximize your STARBITS output)

  • You always hear me say that missions that take more than 1 hour have less reward than the shorter ones. The way you can benefit from this is to do the longer missions when you need to work (and are usually away from the game).

I recommend doing 1-hour missions and coming back to renew it every hour as it takes less than one or two minutes to start another mission if you're on your phone. Plus, you wouldn't lose any rewards because you're doing missions that are too long!
If you have a lower number of Fans, doing the missions longer than one hour wouldn't be too bad, either! There's a certain point in Fans count after which the shorter missions become TOO valuable to lose! If you don't have that many fans (I don't remember the exact number, but I believe it to be around 10-15K) or the instruments to cover the Ego gained from doing the shorter missions (going for the short missions and spamming them generates a ton of Ego), staying with the 1-hour or longer missions could be a good temporary idea.

  • Short Mission Strategy: Well, this is no strategy, but you already know doing short missions back to back requires you to be on the game every 5 minutes - or constantly to immediately start another mission! You could dedicate your big breaks (or your off time) to doing the short missions. But remember to have a couple of Pizza Boxes ready since you might get a couple of them just by spending your 100% energy spamming shorter missions which take less time and energy - you'd have more 17% chances of getting Pizza as opposed to doing longer missions.

  • One last thing, if you can do 1-hour missions constantly and want to avoid accumulating a ton of Ego (the Ego you gain becomes ugly after the 5th run on the same day) you can do alternate 1-hour missions. By that, I mean the FanClub Promotion mission or even Music Lesson since each area has got 1 one-hour mission and doing them 5 times each would leave you with a couple of extra hours till the end of the day and you could use it efficiently there.

I wouldn't recommend sticking with 1-hour missions only, either. Throwing in a couple of short missions to balance the day's rewards could also be helpful.

Hope these few tips helped. These aren't groundbreaking discoveries - just the way I try to plan beforehand on my busy days. I could be totally wrong tho even. I'd love to hear some feedback if you got some as well.

Stay safe and don't forget to renew your missions :D
Cheers~
