Okay, so on Tuesday, I need food and have none. I... What? Go hungry? Steal food? Somehow I doubt that will function well. I would much rather just obsolete the practice of accounting for Our energy added into the system by adding free energy tech.
10 years or so, and the cost of energy will have dropped that it's more energy than it's worth to collect the penny for [whatever]. (100% of the cost of everything is energy - the resources sit here freely, but it takes energy to put them into useful configuration.)
