Well, some days that is just how it is in the hive.
In a week nobody will care.
30 days from now it will have been forgotten like last tuesday's lunch.
Those of us old enough to remember the epic flagwars should take note, those really aren't a thing, anymore.
This is not something that can be pointed to as a 'failure' of the hive.

Just as the content nazi's days are pretty much at an end, so too are the days of rage over being flagged.

Still though there is room for the argument that the powers to be do let some accounts get away with little effort being put behind their post. Look at that cosnos guy, or some similar name as such. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago that if I could take news article and every so often add a few of my own words in between a few lines and make it appear I wrote the whole article I'd be a whale by now. He takes multiple articles and infuses them together, adds a few words of his own and gets upvoted handsomely for it. To me it's plagiarism, to him he argues it's not.

A sensible reaction to a downvote received is to wait and see. One time is no time, as they say. If I receive a one-time downvote, I don't necessarily need to know why, I can often explain it to myself and always have some idea. So if I don't react to it, I also spare the other person a counter-reaction. If I remain calm, the other person can also remain calm.
Where it gets nasty is when my postings are politically explosive and I find that the downvoters vote down my publications - as well as all comments - in series. I believe that such condemnable downvotes hardly ever happen any more. Of course, I don't know for sure, I would need facts. Your message seems to be to obtain or observe them.

Speaking of hoarded coins, quarters are just about the right size to fit in a 12 Ga. shotgun. Interestingly, dimes are about right for a .410, too. Just thought to mention that if ammo gets scarce.
