Better late than never. The fact that half of your life was spent in the ferris wheel gives merit to you stepping off of it. You actually lived it and went through with it rather than just being some bumbling lunatic on the street living on a box and having had no experience with what you fight/rally against.
Being in with them for so long is what makes those that turn from it much stronger, than those that weak it out to the end in the carrot string stick system days of their lives....quite lives of desperation.

The government militia prefers there to be no vets. They can all die and go away as far as they are concerned. Too expensive and pose a real threat to knowing what war is after fighting for freedom and realizing they have only created slaves out of the people they were fighting against. So sad that this is the state of the way it has been. It is time for change, there are other ways coming, other options that are emerging as people see the reality of what his game show really is.
