RE: The Daily Meme #850!

If you look in peakd settings there is the option to powerup 100%, that would be almost as good.
When you take the 50/50 you are shorting hive.

Okay... I looked and there's all kinds of options. What specifically should I do?
This is it.
You don't have enough hp to worry about voting for less than 100%, imo.
You have to be at ~4500 hp to not get your vote rounded down on posts/comments that don't have other votes.
On ones that do have other votes you can vote with less and still get paid.
I read all this,understud nothing...
Lolz, I get that feedback alot,...
IF you have less than 4500hp and you vote on a comment that has no other votes, your vote will not surpass the dust vote level of .019.
Less than .019 on a post rounds down to zero at payout.
IF you vote on posts/comments that have other votes then your vote won't round down and as long as it gets to .001 in payout, you will get a curation reward.
As @amaterasusolar has received curation payouts shows us.
The shorting of hive by taking the 50/50 is that some of the hive you would have received as hp had you taken the 100% powerup is converted to hbd at the market price at the time of payout.
This selling of hive to get hbd is a short.
Holding hbd is in expectation of more hive later, but the price has to drop and we are low enough now that the price won't drop alot more, though it could.
If you are holding hbd now is probably a good time to convert, or trade on the internal market for hive and power up that hive.
For hive to beat the 15% interest on hbd in savings it only has to rise .02usd.
Hive is the play right now, later when the price is higher you can start converting some of that rise to hbd in hopes of the price falling again.
The only reason, outside spending it in commerce, to hold hbd is on the expectation that the hive price will fall and you can convert/trade it for more hive than it cost you to get it at the payout of the post/comment.
I wish to get 10,maybe 100.000 hbd
How can I do that?
Buy hive and trade on the internal market for hbd.
I wouldn't use the convert feature because it requires a 5% burn to convert.
You can trade on the internal market at par.
But, right now, the max play is hive, as the price of it will rise and the value of the hbd you hold will fall as the price rises.
Hbd is for down markets, liquidity, commerce, but it does not participate in hive price rises.
Wooo! Look at you!
Thanks for believing in us.
We shall overcome,...
Ah, thank You!
While you are there, you might as well put your hbd into savings while you are at it.
I tried that once and it all vanished? My savings still say zero, but I know I put 25 into savings. [shrug]
You've got 243hbd in savings.
There's some place that said "Savings." I put 25 in there. It went away. Maybe I'm confusing Blurt with here, but I could have sworn it was here. The layout has changed...
Blurt has a questionable dev, imo.
My keys didn't make the transition, likely because I called him out for his bs.
Here, you are doing just fine.
IF you go into keychain, hamburger menu upper left corner, user operations, automated tasks, claim savings interest.
Once you check that box, your savings will autoclaim each month, and your savings will compound from then on without input from you.
