The Daily Meme #1178!

Ask yourself why when speaking about communism, marx is the only option on offer?

Why do we never get fed the name Bakunin?
It's like the man didn't even exist.
But, here he is influencing the 2nd largest armed anarchist uprising against authoritarianism to that date.

Between 300k and 500k people were killed only for authoritarianism to win.
Apparently, borrowing hitler's bombers and bombing their women and children was an effective tactic.

We still haven't freed ourselves from the enslavement of authoritarianism all these years later.

Hell, truth be told, most of you just want to be left alone with your microwave ovens and steel belted radial tires.

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
The fed buys coins at face value from the mint.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets.
Stop playing in their shell game that allows them to play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.

Well!, I strongly believe that questioning the authority is definitely valid, however 'hoarding pocket change' won't really stop any of the state funded 'military operations' or even rewrite the economic realities, more so.

Depends on how many folks pull their money from the banks.
Hoarding coins can tip the balance and assures cash on hand in emergencies.

How can people build a cooperative community where everyone retains the right to say no, without becoming trapped by dependence on those they disagree with?

You’ve been beating this drum longer than I have, so I’d like your take and any reading you’d recommend on it, apart from the "and then there were none by Eric Russell" short novel you gave me all those years ago.

Both of these describe a way.

This one describes the destination.

Mostly what has to happen is the locals have to organize themselves, suffer any abuse their poor choices get them, and the cycle will repeat.
IF the overarching principle is that violence is to only be used in self defense, and that effectively adopted by the children, then inside 2 generations the changes necessary to go from a bully world to a cooperative world can be had.

Where conflict occurs separation is the solution.
No forced associations.
If that isn't possible, then one of them will likely be the aggressor and the other justified in defending themselves.

For full effect, the group will need to be self sufficient, anything less and crapitalism defeats the effort, for now.

Thanks. I’m working on an article called “Who Gets to Say No?” for a possible paid submission to Advocates for Self-Government. It’s about refusal, consent, and how people can cooperate without claiming the right to rule over each other. This gives me plenty to work my argument around in my own words. I can already see that Berkman gives a specific place to begin on Chapter 22, “Will Communist Anarchism Work?”

From that I can examine how he handles someone refusing cooperation. My childlike answer is in a jip is, "ask if they want to help, if they don't want to then we don't get to make them." But what if we absolutely need to? And what would call for the necessity? Is one of the few questions I aim to explore to find and explain.

People that have what it takes to build these get to say, 'NO!'
