It will be a sad day, for the politician, when the thousands of redundant politicians realise they are not needed. I do not think they will be rounded up and disposed of this time around...i do not think the people will be so nice to them after all is said and done.
It's probably best that we just go on like nothing has changed, except that violence in pursuit of one's goals is no longer acceptable.
This short story does a good job of illustrating one way of running things that maintains everybody's freedom.
Violence is not the way. But ignoring these cronies is by far the best thing to help the tide change...Them over there having a temper tantrum on the floor trying to get us to do what they want....ha oh well, no thanks, ignore.

Lots of people that think violence is a good way to get what they want are in for a rude awakening, iyam.
well, there in for a rude treatment for sure but i don't know about this "awakening" part. I don't think most of them are capable of getting that.
Any of us can be awakened, it's the freak out you have to watch out for, imo.
Finding out most of what you hold sacred is a lie tends to get some of them going around in circles.

Why not offer your wisdom elsewhere - one that doesn't make your ideological enemies stronger?
You can't have it both ways...(we know that the system can never be changed without those in power relinquishing it - that never happens...and it's pretty much mathematically impossible to ever be in position to be able force it).

I have faith in the inflation doing it's bit, and I don't think it impossible that a certain few could volunteer to exert less influence.
Once we get enough voices on this side it will be unavoidable.
That might take awhile, but I don't doubt it's arrival.
It only took 4 years to get rid of the worst of them.
