There isn't much info out there about how this will play out.
People that try to predict things can be relied upon to not get it right every time.
In the community token talk podcast they say that cards will only be sold by folks that have them airdropped to them.
There is no ico, or nft sale, nothing.
Either you get airdropped, or you buy from somebody that did.
Now, when splinterlands first went live I passed on investing.
I was gifted a few cards, but until it began to moon I didn't pay any attention to it.
It's been just ~6 months ago that I began building a deck.
I still haven't made it out of, or even into, bronze I, that is all the cards I have are capable of.
My skills are sorely in need of more practice.
I don't see why ragnarok would be any different.
If you dump as quick as the airdrop hits, you might make some 'free' money, but I'm betting that, just like alpha splinterlands cards, if you do that you will never be able to afford to buy back in.
Hodling keeps the price up.
No sell pressure, number goes up.
You have to decide for you, it's your responsibility to take for having made the choice.
Whatever you do, live life with no regerts, eh?

I am still waiting for Voucher to moon....might have been best to sell off the scraps i had when it was 33 Hive...now it is not worth that much...or is it, will it, in time....holding the line on all front.

I'm betting that chaos legion packs will go up like alpha packs.
I'm probably wrong.
I sold a couple packs at 11usd, but I've been holdling since then just so I can watch the value shrink.
I'm hoping once they sell out they will go up, again.
Ill have to look into buying a pack with that voucher...might be a good idea....I suppose it is right on the home screen of the game?
Yes, in splinterlands look in the 'shop' tab in the upper left side.
They have made buying real convenient, lots of coins to choose from.
You can use a credit card, if I am not mistaken.

If these cards turn out like the alpha cards you could do very well with it.
I've been using part of the sps airdrop to buy them.
Buying before the end of this early period qualifies you for a chance at up to 13 airdropped cards.
I wouldn't get too excited the chance is low, but even small lottery wins are exciting.
I do not really play the game. from what i understand buying a pack and holding the pack unopened is the best way to get some Hive for it. Or do you have another way that has been more profitable?
It's gonna depend on the cards that will come out of it.
Some of the cards are worth quite a bit more than an unopened pack.
If you are just looking to hodl for a year or more, I wouldn't open it.
If you open it, be sure to have the potions to improve your chances of legendary cards.
It takes 5 per pack for 100% coverage when opening packs, one for each card in the pack.
If you are gonna open a bunch, buy the multipack of potions, imo.
ahhh a potion...makes the opening more fun...ill have to get one of those as well...wow lots to that game....i like you, never made it into Bronze.
It is definitely harder than it looks.
Yowzers it is much harder then it looks i get slaughtered often fast and easily.....there is a trick but i am focused on other things rather than that game. I had a voucher so i wanted to make sure to use it. Thanks for your guidance on the matter. ahh so i use the voucher plus 4000 to get a pack....the crypto options show up but not sure what the conversion rate of 1 DEC is...dose not seem to show....!PIZZA
When you click on the link it will bring up another popup that has the amount of dec you will need to buy the credits.
1000 credits to a dollar.
Unless you checked the quit bothering me box on keychain, it will offer a chance to cancel even after the popup from splinterlands that asks if you are sure you want to do that.
So, no worries letting them do the math by clicking yes on the early popups.
