I have to decide if renewing my license is something I want to do, so I was looking through some old legal links and this popped up.
Your state likely has similar laws on the books.
I asked a lawyer about it once, and he said, 'Have they tried charging you with it?', to which I had to say no, and he said there isn't anything anybody can do until somebody gets charged with it.
So, what you are seeing here is that when they are ready to lock you up, they can, and it will be up to you to fight it from jail.
This is just how 'freedom' is done in 'the land of the free'.
Even though they know for certain that this law won't pass constitutional muster, they put it there anyway so that they can crush dissent when they need to do so.
You can have your freedom, IF you can afford a lawyer to get it back for you.
If you look at the changes to the law, you will see that they changed it to having no prison timed attached and a 1000usd fine, then they changed it back to having 10 years.
Nothing like being a slave in a police state, eh?

A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets that force us to pay them so they can play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.

I was hoping the last time was the last one I would have to get, but nope, my fellow 'muricans still bend over for the man.

For a speeding ticket I didn't know I had.
Stinkin' pig didn't give me my copy and I was in a cell so I couldn't press the issue.
I thought, gee what a nice cop, didn't write me a ticket when I got out and not copy was given to me.
I got the suspension for failure to appear lifted by a judge that told me my motions to dismiss were crap, as he signed the dismissal of my suspension.
Now I have to renew it.
If I could register a car without it I would skip it, but I need to register some transportation.
I have to change the registration so the folks I bought it from don't get stuck with traffic violations I may, or may not, be guilty of committing.
I hope to let it expire next time I have to renew.
If I could get my neighbors to stop being cucks of the control freaks I wouldn't have to do all this, I'd just get on my bike and ride.

You get to hear the voice in my head, in person I'm generally pretty quiet, until I get going, then the inside voice comes out and says the same things, except in person.
Freedom ain't free, and to survive long term you have to pick your battles.
It isn't unlikely that I get gunned down on the side of the road.
It's a risk I take every time I drive.
But, I am tired of being cucked by control freak bullies.

I do need to finally get my state ID tho.. u know, just in case I ever need that.
If you haven't needed it up to now, I doubt you will need it in the future.
With any luck the whole rule by force system finally gets their comeuppance before much longer.

They changed the system here. Driver licences and ID cards must be renewed in every ten years so that they can make money.
It's every 4 years in Oklahoma.
