Funny thing about commons.
It's generally not the poor people that screw them up.

I mean, imagine having more than everybody else, but just not being capable of resisting taking that last final bit.
Or, worse, joining in and actively seeking to have it all.

Must be terrible.
Very trying for the soul, I'd guess.

Hmm, whatever.
I'm just glad I haven't had to go through that.

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets that force us to pay them so they can play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.
'Aint that fresh?'

Metal in your own possession will always have more intrinsic value than digits on a bankster's ledger.

What's so civil about war, anyway?

Everyone on HIVE has one thing in common: Everyone wants to take away more money from the platform than they put in.

I suspect that that the whales, who are at the center of the vote selling, feel self justified in their actions. I suspect that some whales and developers are in the red.

This is because HIVE hasn't performed to their expectations.

I guess some just feel self-justified saying things like "I've given so much of myself to HIVE ... I deserve more."

BTW: If one considered fair market value for time, pretty much everyone who engaged in HIVE is in the red.

As for the commons, I guess the smartest people on the platform look at it in the classic "tragedy of the commons" scenario and think: "Here's a boat load of suckers: let's see what we can take from them."

I dislike but don't fault the players. The self-righteous irk me more than the players because the players are honest with themselves.

Yes, the 'good ole boy' function of ganging up is hard to avoid/deny.
It's 'human nature', after all.

Or, what passes for it in the age of Engineered Consent.

If we want HIVE to develop more and have more members, we should make the market value of HIVE increase.

That is kinda what I thought.
The whales have the most to gain by doing that, you'd think they would want more network effect over puffing up their own bags, but,...nope.
