The Daily Meme #538!

If you examine your history closely, dear reader, I bet you can find plenty of instances where you were advocating that somebody be forced to do things that they didn't want to do.

It would be very difficult to move through the current paradigm and not bump into this contradiction.
You would feel quite constricted were you to be forced to do something you didn't want to do.

You do think it's wrong to force people to do things, don't you?

Then keep your dogs on a leash.

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets that force us to pay them so they can play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.
'Aint that fresh?'

Metal in your own possession will always have more intrinsic value than digits on a bankster's ledger.

What's so civil about war, anyway?

Today was not mundane. I caught three fish; pulled up some fresh oysters; and tossed a cast net for a pound of shrimp. All and all, it was a feast fit for King Neptune.

It is obviously wrong. For example, to the recent known war, I think many soldiers were forced go particularly from Russian side.

Both sides are impressing military age males right off the street.
Neither side is innocent.

Rule by force is the disease, who and how are symptoms.™

I don't think I have much said anything about wanting People to be forced. The only things I would force is stopping someOne(s) from breaking one or more of the three Laws of Ethics (Natural Law expressed as the three things not to do). Those Laws are:

  1. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent hurt or kill the flesh of anOther

  2. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent take or damage anything that does not belong to You alone

  3. Do not willfully defraud anOther (which can only happen without fully informed consent)

Beyond that, I would force no One to do (or not do) anything.

Yep, cause no harm to others is about the extent of any laws.

Agreed, but I like the Laws of Ethics, because they're pretty specific... "Cause no harm" leaves open, "What if I did not know it would cause harm?" That's where "willfully" clarifies.

You'd think they would teach that in skools, but I didn't get any of it until I learned it on my own.

The psychopaths in control know that Ethics is higher ground than Their sewer called the legal system. So of course They are no going to teach Ethics. They want the legal system to be held as the be-all and end-all. Because They can make ANYTHING "legal." If They wanted to, They could make it illegal to breathe, with a death sentence if You do. And then go about legally killing anyOne who breathes.

But that surely is unEthical!

Yep, no complying one's way out of this dystopia.
Now it's getting to where the iron fist has squeezed enough folks through the wringer that we stand an even chance of prevailing.
I'd have thought we would have done it sooner, but apparently I am an early adopter.
Not as early as Ed Bellamy, though.
He was ahead of the curve with the credit card idea.

It is the design of the system.
Unless we step outside it, it perpetuates itself indefinitely.
Folks are starting to do that, many more anarchists in the world than when I signed up in '85.
Grow a garden, eh?
