It is pretty pathetic, imo.
This particular gang takes several shares of the 50% of the pool that goes to the top 20 curation account's votes.
You'd think folks would have enough when a moonshot makes them richer than the rothschilds, but greed apparently knows no bounds among these folks.
I think accounts that would become richer than the rothschilds is what is keeping us from broader adoption.
Who buys into a game when they can't win it?
The only prize they get is new masters, probably no better than the old masters.
I prefer a world with no masters.

Hive has an inflation rate.
From that inflation the witnesses are paid, interest is paid on hp, 10% for the big guy(dao), and the rest for the authors and curators.
Each vote has an rshare value, this is how the math is done, more rshares sharing the pool, less inflation for each rshare.
When whales vote everybody else loses.
And if consider the recent devalue of HIVE, some people could leave or stop posting on HIVE as the little slice from the pool has been more little.
We find out who is loyal to the platform and who is just here for the rewards.
Whether the price dips or rises I'm still around to continue spreading my thoughts. Free speech isn't a joke to me.
