The Daily Meme #563!

Not many of us were here for the 'whale experiment'.
For those of you that missed this revelatory social experiment, an 800mv vote cap was forced onto the pool.
Anybody that voted more than 10 800mv votes in a day was smacked down by the whales that were more interested in distribution than money grubbin'.
The results of this smackdown was that everybody's vote 4x'd.
As you can imagine, a fork was rushed through to end any more shenanigans that interrupted the steady money grab by ned and stinc.
You may not remember them, either.
They forced linear rewards on us so the bid bots could reap the pool for all it was worth and then went on a 2 year development walkabout.
I call it the kneecappening.

What ever it was, the ghosts still linger here with us in the forms of those favored by the ninjamined stakeholders in those days, and their own self perpetuation.
I won't name the post, but look around, you will see an echo of what I am talking about being discussed, likely on trending.

IF you want a distribution that gets more than 50% of what is available outside the top 20 accounts, and their sycophants, speak up.
You can't expect the money grubbers to not money grub, it's all they know until somebody illustrates the error of their ways.
They think being greedy af is a good thing.
Especially when they can rub a poor person's nose in it.
'Poor people should work harder.'

I've been beating on this drum since the account numbers came in the 5 digits, and I hope to keep doing it as long as humanely possible, but it does get old beating on this one drum day after day.
Just like their grubbin' of the 50% they take off the top.
Day after day.
Then they wonder why nobody wants to buy in.
Smdh.

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets that force us to pay them so they can play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.
'Aint that fresh?'

Metal in your own possession will always have more intrinsic value than digits on a bankster's ledger.

What's so civil about war, anyway?

Hunter's song

That is all, for now, you may resume your otherwise mundane day.
To contest the characterization of your day as mundane, make a post of your own explaining why your day is not mundane and ping me, eh?

When to vote a post for the best distribution? In 5 or 15 mins?

That all changed in one of the forks.
Now day one is linear, days 2-7 come with increasing penalty for voting late.
Were 'the whales' to start voting on day 5, then they wouldn't tax the pool as hard, but, they know that and reject it in favor of grubbin' moar.

The penalty goes to those that voted earlier than you did.
If you vote a post older than 24 hours, your curation rewards are taxed at an increasing rate based on the age of the post.

Pick a percentage of your income and put it away for the moonshot.
I'd like to have more, too.

That's 1 mean looking crab! :P

Yea, that's pretty messed up that someone would think poor should work harder? how's that logical?

Some people think things are only valuable in their exclusiveness.
'If I am better than you, and you have what I have, how is that better?'

You can't really blame some of them, there was no guarantee that the platform wouldn't flame out in the first 2 years.
