These are your top 20 reward pool reapists.
The amounts shown are curator rewards, very low effort rewards, iyam.

The list doesn't change much month to month.
These same(roughly) accounts have been doing this from the beginning of the chain.
Day after day, year after year.

You can see one of them, that has(at least) two accounts in the top 20, has decided that I don't deserve all the rewards I get from the community, just part of them.
(Very admirable of him, imo.)

Instead of simply not voting my content and moving along, you know, change the channel, he takes what curation rewards you would have gotten for supporting me and keeps 5% of them for himself, and another 5% I would have gotten for those creators he approves of.

My alt account, where I do more personal posts, has been wiped, it can't earn rewards and is slowing going negative in reputation.

For the record, I stated it was my account in a discord server and I could hear the windrush as he hurried to set his bot for that account, too.
It didn't take a few minutes to start getting flags.

All hail, the powerful!!

Bear in mind that 5hbd of every 100hbd this stakeholder flags away from people is directly deposited into his account(s) by the protocol.
Another 5hbd is given to those accounts he supports.

Even if he uses anonymous accounts to do the flagging.
He has stated openly that he would have hidden is wealth, if he had known how things worked when he got here.

This is his right to do.
This is how the math is designed to work.
He is absolutely free to continue.
It is up to you, as a community member, to realize that nobody's rewards are safe if one person's rewards aren't safe.
Unless you speak up, it will be your turn at some point.

Nobody has accused me of abuse, I have not been reported for plagiarism, spam, or copy/pasta, there is no appeal waiting for me in hivewatcher's discord, but yet, here I am getting flagged by arguably the most powerful active account on the chain.

That indicates that what I am saying is not only very influential, but also accurate, yes?

That other whales have not joined in to wipe me from the protocol speaks to the truth of what I have said.
If I had my facts wrong there would be plenty of flaggers joining in.
They have done it many times in the past.

I've asked for guidance on what the issue is, but have not been deemed worthy of any substantive answers, just continued flags that increase in value as my payouts go up.

Stakeholders get to flag, that is the answer I have been given.

How it could be anything other than the topics of my content is not clear to me.
I must be doing something right that this most powerful of people thinks me sooo influential that he sets a bot to flag me after 2 minutes to control my rewards on an alt account that rarely gets even 1hbd in rewards.

I haven't retalitated, it would be futile and counter productive.
I haven't called any names that are not substantially accurate.

It is up to 'the community' to stand up to this abuse of power, IF you have it in you.

IF you value free speech, here is an opportunity to exercise your's and make your opinions heard.

Are you willing to risk never earning another hive to support what you think is right?

Look around, many will support your sale to mammon.

I have done nothing but point out the facts.
Apparently this is upsetting to some in the hive.

I am not the first to upset this pack of powerful accounts by pointing out facts, plenty of prior examples, but those accounts mostly went emotionally explosive and started calling people undeserved names when the powerful flaggers started doing their thing.

I haven't done that, either.

There are only ~35 accounts that have more than 1000mv.

20 of them, as shown in this graph, take 50% of the daily rewards intended to reward all ~4k+ content creators and ~300k curators, half for themselves and half for the 'good' trained seals that jump through the predetermined hoops for them.

'What this platform needs is more latte art and makeup posts.'

These most powerful of accounts could take it all, make no mistake, but instead choose to reward those they approve of and ruin the reputations of those that don't bend over for it.
I've seen dozens of accounts driven from this 'decentralized' protocol over the last 6 years I've been here.

IF somebody reported publicly how much the top 100 accounts take it is unlikely that people would continue to play this game at all, imo.
Very little rewards escape the top 100 accounts, if that is not you, then suck it, plebe.

What you are currently getting in rewards is determined by coordination among these most powerful of accounts.

IF they decided to stop allowing you to have rewards at all, there is nothing you can do about it.
They know this is a game breaker, so they avoid doing that as blatantly as they could.

It made sense 6+ years ago to stop malicious accounts from earning influence over the protocol, but who looks malicious now?
