Years ago, when stinc first kneecapped us with linear rewards, went on a 2 year development walkabout so they and their kind could reap the rewards pool with their bidbots, and as it became apparent that some entity unknown to most of us wanted this 'experiment' to fail, it occurred to me that what could be happening is that those that have already taken out multiples of what they put in could on any given tuesday tank the price to nearly zero and walk away.
That sinking hive as a project would suit them just fine, they got their's and proved their experiment that better options than the fed can exist, but once they are tired of being attacked for launching the very game we are arguing over, they pull the plug and walk away millions richer.
It's all the same to them if hive tanks.
They just copy the code and start a new project.

IF that were to happen, and were we diehards to persist, we will do so without a few people holding a sword over us.
No longer can they tank the price.
No longer do they take most of the reward pool.
No longer does the dao get handed out on the say of one account.
No longer do the top 20 witnesses get controlled by a handful of accounts.

It takes 574704hp to be a whale, these 23 accounts are voting a minimum of a 2x multiple of that.
Our top overlord, appreciator, is voting at a 19.5x multiple.
All the people delegating to them are cutting their own throats as well as everybody else's.
That goes for everybody cheering whale votes.
When whales vote, every other vote loses value.
When they vote it to people that dump, hive loses value.

You can see there are some legacy accounts such as ned, but most are still reaping the pool day after day.
The numbers in the column on the right are their rake for voting in hp.

If you were to ask them, they will likely say it is self defense against all the minnows cashing out.
I don't know how true that is, or if those that can give us the math will dispel any myths being created.
I'm just showing you the facts.

Were those folks to decide to dump, what happens?
Those of us that can will tank up with cheap hive.
There are only ~500million hive, and when more hodlers than dumpers hold them we will see the price rise.

Hive only fails if we, the community, give up on it.
And this is what the reapers have been counting on as they slowly shear the rest of us with their 'curation' schemes, 19.5x whale sized votes, and promises about the potential of hive to recover to the #3 currency by marketcap.
That was ruined by reapers of the pool, fyi.

For scale, look at how many times your hp divides into 574704 and then realize that you are playing in a game where people with 19.5 times that number think it's perfectly ok for them to reap the commons and that you should keep buying hive as they cash out.

IF you haven't been paying attention to the governance aspect of the hive you have been pissing away, then you probably don't understand the fact that when hive finds its success it will be nearly impossible to build stake like you can right now.
While the price is low, you get more hive on your posts and comments.
When hive gets to 5usd per, it will be a much harder climb to earn your way in.

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
The fed buys coins at face value from the mint.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets.
Stop playing in their shell game that allows them to play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.
