This first list is the all time curation rewards top 20.

Mostly well known names here.

Funny how vote selling accounts are up near the top of all time curation rewards.
I thought they were 'helping out the newbs', but it appears that they helped themselves much more than any newbs.
IF somebody would pull the numbers that reference votes from these accounts, I bet most of them have dumped it all and left.
I could be wrong.
Anybody gonna take the bet?
Unlikely, imo.

This is the sell pressure hill we have to climb until the early adopters finally cash out.

5 years since the last post on this account.

It really doesn't matter which one it is, at some point they finally run the hive well dry and the rest of us all benefit from it.
Let's hope it happens in this lifetime, and not the next.

This list is effective hp:

Mostly accounts that have dominated the pool for years.

We do have a new name on this list.
His profile says he founded liketu.

He is cashing out.

image.png

I wonder why.
Let's ask him.

@elmerlin, are you disappointed with us, or what?

image.png

Not all of us are of the same mindset as the ninjaminers and there sycophants, with time we will out stake them, too.

You leaving makes that day farther away.
The hive you sell will go to reinforce their hold on the community.

What can the rest of us do to prevent that outcome?

Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.
The fed buys coins at face value from the mint.
A dollar of change in your pocket is a dollar of value out of the banksters' pockets.
Stop playing in their shell game that allows them to play in the amusement parks from hell and shop in the human grocery stores.

Hunter's cat in the cradle

This is extremely dangerous to our democracy.

Take the chapter 9 challenge?

Simply debunk the math.

The hive you sell will go to reinforce their hold on the community.

The more HIVE POWER held in the hands of real-life curators, the better.

Somebody is supporting the price, I don't figure that to be a conglomeration of the poor people attracted by the few hundred dollars they may earn in rewards, on average.
I suspect it is people that believe in the long term success of hive with disposable income.

The more hands holding hive, the better.

Actually, I spend a lot of time curating. Part of the 'success' of Liketu I attribute to us doing that fairly well over the past 2 years.

Hello and thanks for asking.

I'm powering down as I would like to reduce the amount I hold as governance and take advantage of some potential market volatility with some extra coins in the near term. Won't be leaving.

I have expressed in some corners, some concern over how public resources have been allocated and we can discuss those in private if you want. But beyond that, no real issue.

Glad you are not leaving, the more hands that hold hive the better.
We have to level out the ninjamined hill before we can actually be 'community controlled', and that is taking more time than anybody likes, imo.

It looks like volatility is the market mood and trading into that helps smooth it out.
IF we could get more folks doing that hive would be more attractive.
