You can still find them in your change, but they are getting more rare each day.
Not a bad investment, 3.8x your money!
You can walk into a bank right now and buy 100usd of nickels and get 139usd worth of nickel and copper.
This doesn't mean a whole lot until the federal reserve goes down, but even after they do, your nickel will buy alot more on the gold standard.
Every dollar that is in your coin jar is a dollar out of the bankster's pocket that has made things this way.
Strike a blow against the new world order, hoard you coins!

Keep the nickels and pre-1982 pennies for when we can scrap them for metal prices and hold the rest to deny them to the banks.
IF you remember when covid came out the word was put out on the flashylight boxes to turn in your change.
The banks are running short of change they told us.
But, that wasn't the truth, they can get all the coins they need from the mint, they just wanted you to save them some transportation costs.
The banks have to pay the armored car companies to transport the coins, which are quite heavy.
100usd of nickels will weigh 22 pounds.
1000usd of dollar coins are 18 pounds.
Even if a thief did find your coins, it would be too much like work to steal them.
Are you are tired of paying your masters to bomb children in far away places?
Perhaps it is time you pushed back on that.
A simple way that anybody can do that is to hoard your coins.

Collecting coins seems a clever idea, particularly due to the unpredictability of the economy.
Definitely hoarding my coins. I got over 2k in pesos now. Any coin I get in change and have left over at the end of my expenses, I throw it in the jar 🫙. I actually have your posts repeating footer to thank for as it served me as a great reminder since I have ADHD I tend to forget lol.
You will have to check to see the melt value of coins in mexico, they may have different rules of how they enter circulation, and will definitely have a different metal makeup.

However I found out that hoarding pre the U.S. penny (Pre‑1982 Copper) is worth more in its weight than the nickels. Also found out that the US mint has mentioned that they want to discontinue the current metal base percentage for nickels. Good news for nickel hoarders.
I went into the bank the other day and asked for a box of nickels and their question was, 'What do you want that for?', I wanted to slap the lady.
They didn't even have a box of nickels.

I haven't entered in a bank in ages. I never plan to. And yes I understand the feelers too. It's none of their business. Which is why I hate going to banks. Too many unnecessary questions. "Where you get the money from? What's it for? Why that much?" Like, bitch stfu and myob and give me my IOUs. Lol
I guess I'll stick to collecting copper wire scraps from my electrical jobs. It sometimes pays for a meal or two or three down the road.
Wish I had any money to get some and a place to put them... LOL!
