Homesteading is the new asset that's all the rage nowadays. All the cool kids are doing it or moving towards it.
Though nothing is new under the sun, with time, what was once working in ancient times is coming out as new and desired. Funny how that works out. One day we're fishing freely, then some loco comes in and proposes we need permission and the gullible buy into it. Now the regret it but don't know why or how it got to be this way. And now they want to fish freely again.
This struggle to be free of rule by force is as old as the first two men that picked up sticks and started farming the neighbors rather than the land.™
Them it must be an ancient struggle for even the igigi struggled with that when they were forced to come to earth by Anunnaki's command to mine for gold for their home planet. Or so it is written. If they, as advanced as they were, still suffered that belief, what hope have we to overcome that?
It's simply, actually.
Too simple.
Until people reject rule by force, more of the same is all we can expect.
