My Festive Period Plan | Avoid Overspending

Festive season is a season associated with lot of love, joy, warmth, celebration and togetherness. A wonderful times of the year with lot of fun, gift, parties and travel.

Toward this upcoming festive season, I really have a lot of plans or things which i need to carry out, I have a lot of gift which I need to buy, and I also have a lot of places to go. Firstly, I'll be traveling down from my based here in Asaba to Ogun State to see my parents and my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law based in Ago-iwoye, Ogun State, She got a lot of chicken, that she's rearing, toward this festive period, which i didn't want to miss. However,I wish to have my Family Thanks giving in my mother-in-law place and also have all the church programs both Christmas and New year with Her. Have really missed her a lot.

Another reason why I wanted to travel is to avoid my wife boss of disturbing her of work. We haven't been able to have time together, is always works upon works. So I think this is the right time for us to go out together and have fun.

From my mother-in-law place, I'll be going to Ilisan. Ilisan is a small town located in Ogun State, that's where my parents stay. There's always a tradition which always go on in my family, that I wish to be there, my family always cook food on festive period and share to people around us, most especially the needy.

But as the festive season is approaching, my greatest fear is now on inflation or high in price which can make me to overspend. So to avoid overspending and have a wonderful holiday season, so have decided to plan towards it too.

If I didn't plan very well, this festive season can quickly become season of overspending for me and make my bank account to suffer the consequences. My plans towards overspending begin with having a spending limit. Instead of just going on shopping spree or embark on any journey, I need to first put my account balance in mind by asking myself some series of questions such as, How much can I afford to spend this festive season? what and what do I need to get?.

Once have sort out my list, then I'll start my shopping as soon as possible and taking advantage of black market both online and in store using Jumia and Shop rite and I'll try to avoid shopping on impulse no matter the difficulty because it's easy for me to get carried away in the holiday season.

So the most important thing on my plan, is to have a quality time with my loved ones. Sometimes it's not about how much you spend but the quality time spent with loved one truly matter.

With this I think I can enjoy my holiday season without overspending and have enough fun.
