Natural Disaster Crisis | Three Basic Needs

I could remember the kind of damages that flood, which happened, Last year in Nigeria causes when it also took over our place. Disaster isn't a good thing to witness. However, the world has always witnessed several natural disaster. Some of these natural disaster such as war, mining, digging are caused by mankind while some are caused as a results of changes in nature such as earth quake, flooding, drought, landslide, fire outbreak and so on. which have always take places all over the world.

Natural disaster absolutely happened whether we want it or not. They're event that usually takes place unaware and hit everywhere, anytime. The effects of natural disasters are damages of property, death, environmental damage, injuries, and dislocation of social and economic facilities.

According to the question asked by Hiveghana on three things you will first grab if natural disasters happened and why the three things.

1. My phone : During disaster, Mobile phone can play a lot of important role. It can be used to communicate with friends, family and Emergency medical unit.

Social media sites on my phone can help me to get more information and communicate as well. In some cases Phone can be used as torchlight if needed. It can also be used for transaction using Mobile app, just incase if I need some money.

1. Sustenance : One of the challenges that people who undergo disaster normally faces are shortage of food and water, which could causes them malnutrition or hunger that can lead to their inability to survive disasters. It's doesn't really matter that I pack a lot of food but few food and water that will keep me healthy or active for some time during or throughout disaster.

Natural food like snack, beverages, bread, fruit and canned food is a good example of the food to grab. Food and water is one of the basics need during disaster.

1. My school bag: Inside this my school bag, you can found my document and some clothes which are also basic need during disaster inside it.

To avoid been hold down with heavy load during disaster. So one pair of long sleeve, one pair of short sleeve, one pair of long short and small shorts with a pair of shoes is enough shelters needed.

In summary, three things I will grab are as follows; My phone, Sustenance and My school bag. With this three things I'll be able to survive and overcome challenges that someone can experience during disasters.
