A little bit of anxiety

I'm not really good at writing my feelings, but for whatever reason it's all I am able to put together these days, whenever I get the opportunity to write something down so I'm just going with the flow.

According to Peakd it's been seven days since I last posted. Seven days that has felt like Eons. Even though I have never been the buzziest bee (daily poster), Until recently I'd always have at least 3 posts a week. When I saw I no longer had any active posts and I won't be posting for a while, I decided I may as well make a post now which will sort of act like a proof of life.

Ok, so if you've seen my previous posts, you'll know that the reason I'm not so active is because I have an exam coming up. And until recently it's felt like the exam was far away and I had a lot of time to get ready. Well, all of a sudden my first paper is 2 days away.

Now I feel like Patrick, Shit is getting real. Usually I'm not so nervous about exams, but for whatever reason there's just so much pressure and expectation around this. And I have like 2 or 3 courses I am not sure I would pass if the exam was at this instant.

I'm not even sure whether it is a blessing or a curse that the exams are back to back. On the one hand I want to get over it all quickly, but on the other hand I also want to have time in between so I can get some more knowledge and do great on all my papers.

I wish there was a way to be 100% sure of how prepared you are for an exam. Because exams can be very subjective when it comes to showing who studied harder or not. One can study really hard, know everything and then get to the exam hall and see the one part he didn't study come out as the majority. While another person could have just glanced through his books and the only part he focuses on turns out to be the majority in that exam. It can be really frustrating being the first guy. I like my field (engineering), because its a bit easier to cut your workload, you just have to understand the key concepts and you can use it anytime anywhere. But then there are just some courses where that doesn't work and you just have to memorize and shove it down. These are the courses where I'm struggling a bit.

Its hard but there's nothing I can do, just have to keep trying and hope I can find a way to be guy number 2. In the end, no matter what happens, I'll be alright.

~THANKS FOR READING~

You chose an excellent image to represent anxiety! Very tasteful. 😊

Keep on trucking. In due time, you'll see that these exams and papers were a temporary worry, and that the knowledge you gained was one of the biggest investments you made in your future, both intellectually and financially. There's always a way to practically apply your knowledge in the real world if you're creative enough.

Wow, thanks it actually took me a while scrolling through unsplash to find this. And it just felt perfect.

As for reading and and knowledge, I'm quite confident I'll use some of the things I'm learning now. Now all though. Thanks for stopping by.

I can understand what is the situation of yours because I also have faced that situation in recent time . My examination finished few days ago and because of it I was almost inactive for 3 months in this platform .
I personally think that focusing on real life is more important than virtual life . So I don't think you should need to be worry for it and we all understand situation .Stay focused in study and best of luck.🙂

Well sharing honestly always helps the most for one thing so kudos on your courage to be vulnerable, my friend. 👏

If I can share a super cool tool that some fellow travelers shared with me a long time ago?

When you feel that anxiety about everything you have to get through just bring it right back to the moment and focus completely on the next thing that needs doing. Don't worry about all the rest. Just the next thing that needs to be done. Do that. And when that's done then do the next thing that needs to be done. And only focus on that.

And so on and so on...

Worrying and stressing doesn't help you do your best because the brain goes into survival mode and can't thing clearly. Makes it all that much harder to be productive.

So (as they say) "just do the next right thing!"

So simple. So effective you won't quite believe how well it works! :D

Sending calm and peace. And a big hug!
