At what point should I give up

Over the years we have heard is say that quitters never win and winners never quit. That saying is very sweet in the mouth to say but the actualization of it is something that’s on another level. My question is at what point should I quit? I saw someone say that sometimes we need to quit and others said not to quit.

So when is the right time to quit and not to quit?I am not trying to be a motivational speaker or looking for who to motivate or not but I am simply here to pour out my heart and maybe someone may read or not but as someone who doesn’t get much traffic on my blog, I think I can be free to pour out the burden in my heart and not be judged for it. I think I have a low threshold for being discouraged. Maybe if I tell myself the truth I’d be better off and knowing I have a problem that I would have to seek out how to solve would be a start forward. I think I give up too easily or too quickly. Or maybe I always nurse the thought of giving up easily in the faces of challenges and that was why I was asking at what point am I expected to give up?

I have been ok until I got into a call that changed my mood a little bit and made me have this bitter churn in my stomach. Not another disappointment. I said a little prayer. Lord please let this one not happen. I don’t know if I can take it but alas what am I to do. I pray it doesn’t but if it does, what do I do other than take it?The strength of investing so much to se that someone does business and enters into a partnership with you only to end up seeing that the person has decoders to turn back due to one stupid advice from someone who doesn’t even have a smidgen idea of what the business of all about.

I don’t know why people choose to do stupid things that they would later regret in the future. You as a consultant talking to them, know that what you are advising them dp would only be to their own good but somehow they don’t just see the future. They are simply blinded by sentiments and would later regret their actions. I am pained maybe because someone I still get to get a good sum of money from the business of they eventually get to take it but at the long run, they are the ones that earns the most from it.When you get disappointed the first time, second time, third time, forth time and now fifth time is about to happen even though I pray it doesn’t, it can be sooo discouraging and now I am asking when do I give up?

I am not planning to actually give up but I am just wondering how the people who have failed so many times happened to stay through to their purpose without giving up. When I hear the story of the man that discovers electricity and how he failed for 999 times, I can’t seem to fathom that experience. How did he manage to keep on experimenting all those years and didn’t give up. How on earth do people do that? Just four and a half and I am already wondering what’s going on.I heard the story of the woman in our real estate company that posted for four years with no single sales.

How do you do a business and you are consistent for four years and no sales and yet you continued? I don’t know if I’d be able to do that but right now, I don’t feel good. I just said to come pour out my heart here and pray for a change cos what else would I do. I do hope my fire and fuel keep me going even in difficult times like this.
