My other castle

It’s a beautiful place where the streets are tarred with precious golds of love and the walls are peace. The blocks and brick walls speak of freedom. They let you come in and be who you were created to be. This doesn’t mean that in this castle people are meant to just be stereotypes without wanting to change for good. This doesn’t mean that you come in the way you are and remain the way you are. No!

In this castle, you come the way you are but will definitely not remain the way you are. In this castle we advocate for real change and transformation into the real image of your creator as you behold. As you behold, you are changed from glory to glory.

Here we are advocates for love and understanding. Well, that’s because the steeets are tarred with golds of love remember. Well, in this castle, the walls are tall and high up in the sky not making space for unwanted intruders.

This is a castle were we believe in growth and helping one another. In this castle, we are a team meant to compliment each other and not compete with each other. We come in knowing that we are not perfect and each of us have something that we are dealing with but knowing that it can only be dealt with when we are open and willing to be vulnerable to the surgeons knife.

This is a safe haven where we can be naked and not ashamed. Where we find solace in the arms of each other. A castle owned by a king with his dear queen who is very precious to him. The best thing that ever happened to him after God.

In this castle he rules with no bias knowing that his queen is an epitome of submission and beauty both within and without. He watches her with pride and she strides about in her beauty and glory while ensuring that everything he provides for the running of the castle is judiciously used and that there is no waste.

His soul doth confidently trust in her and he has no need to fear. She does him good all the days of his life and his face lacks no smile as he looks at her and smiles always knowing that he made the right choice. He could not have asked for a better queen to rule this castle with him.

She looks at her king and her heart swells in appreciation for the kind of man whom goodness has sent her way. He is one of a kind. Full of kindness and patience. He is so strong and yet so soft. He loves her and she could see and feel the love even a thousand miles away.

She had met all kind of men who have been nothing but toxic and she kept praying for a king, an Odogwu with a heart of gold who would love her the way she deserves to be loved. She was a good woman and needed just a good man too. She needed to love and be really loved in return.

A love that would not be one sided. A balanced love with a large heart who has all the love to offer. Who would look at her like she’s the next best thing after God that ever happened to him. Who would listen to her and be patient with her excesses. Who would love her and pamper her like the egg she is.

She prayed and hoped and posterity sent her heart desires. Today she glows. The man came just as she prayed. He was a king and a priest different from all she had known. A man after God’s heart, specially made for her alone. She couldn’t have asked for a better spouse.

They are both deeply in love with each other and can’t live without each other. They pray together, laugh together and rule together. He loves her dearly and deeply with so much softness that he hasn’t loved any other and she reverences him with utmost reverence. He was her lord and her king.

This castle is filled with so much love and understanding that everyone who comes inside wants to be a part of it. It was everything she prayed for and more. Well, that’s my other castle and one day it will be.
