The life of a curator and the community posts

avatar

Namaskar / Hello to all hive users, who will reach this post. I hope you are doing great and having fun in your life and enjoying it with your loved ones.

I have read and heard many times that a picture says a lot for the world so I am here to share that will all of you here I hope you will enjoy it I love to share memes and I am kind of used to it now that a lot for your support and encouragement..

If you are a curator then you can relate this with yourself. The toughest job in the hive , just kidding. It's really hard to find a good post in the community if you find one then you have to check that it's not a copied /paste (Plagiarise)post. it is hard to find but there are many ways to check that you have to just search for how to check if the content is plagiarized in google then you have to just copy and paste the content and then you will find out it is a genuine post or not.
some websites are free to use you will surely figure that out by visiting them.

when you look in the community you will find that every single post should be upvoted but there are rules and we have to follow that indeed:

  • maintain the account voting power*
  • Give chance to other curators.
  • The more curator we have the more variety in the curation we have.
  • Don't upvote a particular user daily.
  • Hive is full of amazing users support new users.
  • encourage the user to post more by your comments and upvotes (most of the time).

this is it a life of a curator

The image is captioned by me on the website imgflip, have a look,

This is just made for fun, I am not really making fun of anyone.

I have made this meme on the website imgflip, feel free to join that amazing platform and make your own meme for free 😁

Never forgot one thing you should be grateful for because what you have someone has a dream of that. So learn to be grateful. Be Thankful. 🙏😀

Thanks a lot for being here, let me know what you think.

I had this issue in 2018 when trying to manage way too many new people from the introduceyourself tag in the dynamicsteemians.

I am much happier now not feeling pressured to curate this or that or even if it is spam because I hand picked my authors, didn't ask anything from them really, and just started engaging.

Sooooo nice doing things on my terms. It really impacted my health negatively as the price of steem was crashing and people from third world countries were shaking me down for more upvotes or attention that I couldn't possibly sustain. It really hurt my soul knowing I built a unsustainable community that turned as sour as my health.

But now I have something where I can read material, like from you or @josediccus that I consciously want to read and sustainably engage with.

Curating im discovering is more than upvotes. It is simply getting your eye on content and engaging. The upvotes should be secondary and used as an incentive to keep posting quality up, for community staked curation that is, just my opinion. Individual stake holders are 100% responsible for themselves and shouldn't be subjected to upvoting in a certain way. Maybe that argument gets weird when you have a large stake and 10s of millions of votes for witness, thus having the all communities support. Anyways ill digress.

Providing upvotes in a equal way can have negative consequences. These upvotes are confusing to new people who get them now, (not like before) or dont(as they see mass amounts of new people getting them) there is no explanation typically with each large vote that most crave or gets.

Curators right now are curating in a exhausting way as a whole on Hive. Just my opinion. They are casting too many large votes without commenting typically leaving everyone confused as to why a post got rewarded so heavily or not.

Now I am starting ramble away from your point.

Curating a community of people especially for a large native speaking nationally based community on Hive can be a bureaucratic nightmare trying to appease hundreds and with the curators also having to appease each other. It can get weird.

Which allows me to circle back to engagement. I do hope more comments are made when upvoting posts. I've seen better growth through engagement than with just upvotes from content creators. When no one pays attention with lack of engagement then people get sloppy typically.

Wow , that was amazing and i totally agree with you. Engagement is better then upvotes. There are many users in hive who got a good amount of up votes and guess what there is no comment 😶. I feel bad for some good user who make there post with 100 % efforts and didn't get good up votes some times no upvotes at all.

Maybe in the future the things will change a bit. Lets hope for the best.
I have realizes how important engaging with other here.
I love to comment in others post and that make me feel great. This is how i encourage them.
Sometime i curate there post. Our community power is not that much like the other community but we try our best to support the talent 😊🙏⁦✌️⁩🎉

I really appreciate what you are here.

I remember you from those days... Maybe from the Bangladesh crowd and participation in @dynamicsteemians?

I remember you posting. It is nice coming back after a year and a half and seeing those college kids who are now top professionals in their field to even people who used to casually post to now big time curators and bloggers😏

Sometimes growing old can be as satisfying as drinking a glass from a well cured bottle of wine when watching young inspiring individuals come into their power and make positive moves in Life and on Hive. Makes getting old worth it. Knowing that there is good in the world and that people still care enough to curate in this dog eat dog world of 2021.

Love ya. I appreciate all that you do!

good point my friend I have always wondered if it is true that the curators of the hive supervise each blog and its content in the rest of the web, to confirm if it is authentic or plagiarism before giving voting points, but well that only they know ....

thanks a lot for being here means a lot to me. yes, it is really a hard thing to do as a curator I can feel that. I check the posts for plagiarism. Then I curate the posts it is hard to find in the case of photographs if there are any.
may In the future there will be an option to check that automatically via bots like google runs to rank the websites.
IT can be possible hive will be better place sooner or later 😀🙏

thanks have a great day and week

Great picture to sum up the life of a curator.
Yep, as a fellow curator for a community, I can understand your feelings and how hard it is to find good posts.

Good night bro :)
